About Our Founders, Kristi + Scot Redman.
Kristi and Scot Redman were both born in the beautiful state of Texas. Scot raised by an organic chemist and powerfully graceful mother often draped in floor-length furs. Kristi raised by a mathematics professor and his beautiful bride, an Aquarius. Scot attended USC film school while living in Venice beach. Kristi worked various roles that endless spring on set for Oliver Stone. Soon thereafter they crossed paths at SMU film school where they immediately connected over Linklater lectures, martinis and whiskey, and cinematic fairytales. Destined for a life surrounding moving pictures and fashion, they set out on an adventure together.
What Happened Next?
From the dust filled backroads filming Hiro and Kiko, a documentary on the charrería, to the overnight success of a fashion street style blog named Hilltop Glossy, they were immediately thrust into the role of fashion editors at D Magazine where they worked closely with both print and web. Over the next five years, they photographed over sixty features and hundreds of web assignments for D Magazine. Their cinematic and emotional style caught the eyes of Conde Nast, Russian digital entrepreneur Miroslava Duma, and several New York marquee fashion designers. They photographed an exclusive first look and backstage beauty for the Chanel Métiers d’Art Show in collaboration with digital magazine Buro 24/7
This was quickly followed by hundreds of fashion week backstages including Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, DKNY, Jonathan Simkhai, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Vera Wang, Delpozo, Diane von Furstenberg, and Calvin Klein.
Their documentary style has been commissioned by W Magazine, Teen Vogue, Vogue.com, PAPER Mag, Lucky, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Thailand, and Vogue China for street style, portrait, and fashion narratives.
